Born and raised in the Longmont community, Dr. Maurer grew up watching his father practice dentistry, giving him insight into everything it had to offer. When he was earning his undergraduate degree at Trinity, he shadowed his father and Dr. Terry Hoerner. It was then that he knew he wanted to pursue the career for himself – and he hasn’t looked back!
Dr. Maurer earned his dental doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Since then, he has attended numerous conferences and pursued continuing education whenever he gets the chance.
When he isn’t busy serving patients. Dr. Maurer is spending time with his wife, Tanna, and their child, Tinley. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, snowboarding, playing basketball, fly fishing, and hiking. A fun fact about Dr. Maurer is that him and his wife are part of the Wibby Brewery Corn Hole League and the Quarters Skee Ball League!
Dr. James Maurer –
Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Maurer completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota, he decided to relocate to Longmont and open his dental practice. He has been part of the community ever since!
Dr. Maurer prioritizes treating each and every patient like a member of his own family and always offering the highest level of care. Currently, he is a proud member of several honor societies and professional organizations to keep his knowledge and skills sharp. He also dedicates his time to those in need as part of the Longmont Sunshine Club and Colorado’s Donated Dental Services.
When he isn’t at the dental office, Dr. Maurer is spending time with his wife, Katie. In his free time, he loves traveling and playing golf with his friends.
Dr. Brandt Bergman –
Dr. Bergman found his calling in dentistry when he shadowed his childhood best friend’s dad, who was a dentist. He went on to earn his dental doctorate from the University of Iowa. Since then, he has completed countless hours of continuing education with SPEAR Education in addition to the AAID Maxicourse for Implant Dentistry.
To stay up-to-date on all the latest developments modern dentistry has to offer, Dr. Bergman is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
When he isn’t treating smiles, Dr. Bergman is spending time with his wife, Michelle. In his free time, he likes biking and other outdoor activities!
