He interned at several public health clinics around Colorado, including the Salud Health Clinics Commerce City and Longmont.

Since graduating, Dr. Dan has attended various conferences and remained committed to continuing education. This includes advanced courses from the Engel Institute and the Dental Practice Masters Online School.

When he isn’t busy at the dental office, Dr. Dan is spending time with his wife and child. In his free time, he likes playing gold, fly fishing, hiking, and playing basketball.

Dr. Brandt Bergman

It was in high school, when Dr. Bergman took a human biology course, that he first knew that he wanted to work in the medical field. He ended up shadowing his best friend’s dad, which was a dentist. Since then, he knew it was the career path for him!

Dr. Bergman began his studies at the University of Iowa. Since then, he has completed countless hours of continuing education. This includes SPEAR Education as well as the AAID Maxicourse for Implant Dentistry. Currently, he is also a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Bergman is really great. He explains what he is going to do, ensures I’m comfortable and there’s no pain, and then is very willing to adjust if needed. I needed to replace a crown but I didn’t feel pressured to have it done. I went ahead with it and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Bergman and the rest of the staff at Longmont Complete Dentistry.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Longmont Complete Dentistry, we know that choosing a new dentist can be overwhelming, and naturally you may have a lot of questions for us. Here are a few common queries our new patients have. If you don’t see yours listed below, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly office team for more information!

How do I get emergency dental care?

The first step in getting emergency dental care at Longmont Complete Dentistry is to call us as soon as possible and let someone on our team assist you. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately.

Most emergency rooms, mobile clinics, and urgent care centers are not properly equipped to handle dental emergencies, and thus if you go to one of these locations you are unlikely to be treated.

At Longmont Complete Dentistry we are proud to offer same-day appointments for dental emergencies, but please call us as soon as possible and let someone on our team help you.

Please note that dental emergencies are often an indication of more serious dental issues, and an important sign that it’s time to get back into the habit of regularly visiting your dentist. Routine visits can help prevent future dental emergencies, saving you time, money, and of course, your beautiful smile!

How do I find the best place to get dental work done?

The first step in locating a new dentist is to define what you’re looking for. What’s important to you? Usually, this is some combination of welcoming your dental insurance, the location of the practice, the dentist’s credentials, the safety and cleanliness standards of the dental team, and the hours of operation.

Additionally, it’s important to know what kind of dental care you need, for example someone who treats children, a place to go for routine preventive care, whether they have emergency services, or if they offer cosmetic dentistry treatments.

Finally, it’s important to get a feel for the practice. How do they treat their patients? At Longmont Complete Dentistry, we’re proud members of the Mead community, and our stellar Google reviews reflect this!

Once you’ve determined what you’re looking for, you can check out the doctor’s biographies on our website. This is an excellent way to find a dentist who meets your established criteria.

How much does a dental check-up & cleaning cost in Mead?

The cost of a dental check-up and cleaning can vary depending on a variety of factors, including the individual oral health of the patient and the location of the practice.

A check-up and cleaning at Longmont Complete Dentistry always includes a patient health history and discussion of your concerns, a thorough examination by your dentist, a professional cleaning, X-rays, and an oral cancer screening.

The average cost for this type of appointment in markets across the United States is between $200 and $350. If you have dental insurance, the fees for your check-up and cleaning (including any out-of-pocket co-pays) are negotiated with us by your dental insurance provider.

What level of education is required to be a dentist?

Here in the United States, all dentists must have earned either a Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) or a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from one of the nation’s 67 accredited dental schools.

Acceptance into dental school requires the student to have earned a bachelor's degree with very high grades in a major that is heavy in both math and sciences.

Dental school is a three-year program which combines classroom and hands-on learning.

Following dental school, some dentists choose to continue their education by earning one of twelve specializations recognized by the American Dental Association. These require an additional three or more years of dental school training.

Finally, upon completion of their training, all dentists are required to complete a certain number of continuing education hours to maintain their dental license.
